Jun joined Johnsonville Medical Centre as a GPEP registrar mid 2021 he qualified as a Fellow of the RNZCGP in 2025. Jun was raised in Wellington and trained in Dunedin at Otago University where he graduated in 2017. He subsequently worked at the Dunedin Hospital for 3 years before moving back up to Wellington.
