Brooke was born in Hamilton. She grew up in Auckland and moved to Wellington at the age of 16. Brooke is a registered nurse but specialized in mental health. She has worked in many different areas of mental health, but discovered that she likes preventative measures which is why she decided to work in a primary mental health service. She has a passion for mental health and cannot imagine doing anything else.

Brooke works within the Primary Solutions and Piki programs. Her role at Johnsonville medical centre is providing brief intervention mental health support. Outside of work, she loves experimenting with hair colours and nail art, enjoys exercising and getting out doors.
